Criminal Compliance Policy
Within the framework of its commitment to the permanent monitoring and sanctioning of fraudulent acts and conduct, the maintenance of effective communication and awareness mechanisms for all its employees, suppliers, clients and partners, and the development of an institutional culture of ethics and integrity, the Board of Directors of Parque Tecnológico de Fuerteventura SA, MP approved its CRIMINAL COMPLIANCE POLICY in a session held on June 20, 2019, following the recommendations of the Spanish Association for Standardization and Certification (AENOR) included in the UNE 19601:2017 Standard (Criminal Compliance Management Systems)

Compliance Officer
Article 31 bis of the Penal Code includes as a condition for qualifying for exemption from liability that the Management Body, in the case of Parque Tecnológico de Fuerteventura SA, its Board of Directors, has “adopted and effectively implemented, before the commission of the crime, Organization and management models that include the appropriate monitoring and control measures to prevent crimes of the same nature or to significantly reduce the risk of their commission.”
These measures include the appointment of a control body to deal with the Compliance Function, with the Board of Directors having decided to appoint the entity's Compliance Officer, in a meeting held on June 20, 2019, to:

Ethical Reporting Channel
Any knowledge of actual or suspected non-compliance must be reported to the Compliance Officer . Employees are encouraged to report any situations that may represent a weakness in the system so that they can be corrected or improved. Any report of corruption or suspicious activity will be treated as confidential.
A formal channel has been established so that all interested parties can make, in good faith and without fear of reprisals, inquiries or reports of breaches of the provisions of the entity's Criminal Compliance Policy.
Anyone who becomes aware of any conduct (active or passive) contrary to the content of the Criminal Compliance Policy, or any other internal regulations, may submit the corresponding complaint through the Ethics Channel , which can be accessed via the email address: canaletico@ptfue.com
Complaints may be submitted anonymously or by identifying the sender. In this case, Parque Tecnológico de Fuerteventura SA, MP will guarantee the confidentiality of all information communicated.
All persons who transmit their notifications in good faith will be protected against any type of discrimination and penalty based on the complaints made. False or defamatory complaints may be subject to sanctions or give rise to the exercise of the legal actions available.
This same channel can be used by interested parties to report other issues of interest or doubts regarding the application of the entity's Criminal Compliance Policy.
