RETECH4CAN

Led by the Fuerteventura Technology Park, it involves the participation of specialized companies such as Skydweller, Aerolaser, Datadron, AIRobotics, and SubSeaMechatronics. The project will include flights and operations in selected forest areas, data processing at the ISSEC center, and the development of technological solutions for monitoring, early warning, and efficient forest management.

• Moving forward through the proper integration of technologies in the FOREST MONITORING and in the PREVENTION, DETECTION AND EARLY WARNING OF FOREST FIRES with the aim of reducing the damage caused to the forest resources of the Canary Islands Autonomous Community and promote the forest bioeconomy, developing a solution that can be exported to the community of Castilla y León and other Spanish and European regions.

• Introduce, as an innovative and disruptive element, a new source for data collection: platforms (unmanned UAS or, failing that, temporarily manned), which provide persistent support at low and medium altitudes, with advanced sensors that allow the acquisition of quality information in real time, to develop value-added capabilities that are currently not possible or are provided inefficiently.
